Celebrate Freedom Fest is Houston's citywide Juneteenth kickoff held at historic Emancipation Park. Organized by Juneteenth Houston and the Emancipation Park Conservancy, this free festival brings together Third Ward, Fourth Ward, Fifth Ward, Acres Homes, Independence Heights, Sunnyside and South Park communities for a day of music, food, art and oratory. Enjoy live performances, vendor marketplaces, food trucks, kids’ activities and community resources as we honor freedom, culture and community.
